"I read your entire book about your aircraft accident in one sitting. I can't begin to tell you how much emotion it brought out in me. Your story and experience is nearly identical to mine. You're telling of dealing with the FAA, the families, the insurance companies, the attorneys and employees had me weeping a few times. Thank you so much for doing it and for your ongoing commitment to aviation safety. The book is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece."
"Your book and especially Rosa, the woman who lost her mother and children in the accident, have brought a light to my life. I truly believe she will bring light to everyone who reads this story. I appreciate so much how you have expressed her character and grace."
"This book should be required reading in the air taxi industry. The detailed chronology of the crash and its aftermath are usually overlooked by the industry. This is a ground-breaking treatment of the event and should serve as a reminder of the importance of the human equation in the flight industry. Speaking as one directly involved in the aftermath of many of these tragedies, I read the book until one in the morning, feeling many emotions: the main one being
gratitude that this book has been written."

"Flying With Wings is an important book not only because it documents a tragic part of Juneau's aviation history, but because it sets out in clear language how the ripples of a tragedy affect so many lives and an entire community. One very tragic take away that I didn't know about until I read the book was the impact the accident had on the passengers, pilot, and employees of Wings and their extended families. Another observation is that everyone at the FAA needs to read this book. Its employees do not seem to know the need for investigation skills, but to better understand the human trauma that must be dealt with in the aftermath of a terrible accident. Kudos to author Sue Christianson and the Bob Jacobsen Family for
laying it out plainly."
